Phoenix Yard, is a mainly flat site with beautiful views across the Medway valley. The North Pole public house is approximately half a mile from the site, it is under new ownership, and it is understood that the food is reasonable. Wateringbury is approximately 3/4 mile in the opposite direction, although the walk is a bit hilly. The site is best approached via the A26 to avoid the very tight bottleneck at East Malling. From Maidstone, turn right into Red Hill at the Wateringbury lights (left if approaching from Tonbridge). The entrance to the site is on the right hand side after about 3/4 mile. It is on a bend so please watch out for the WKDA> signs.
