Canterbury Working Party 2011

Once again Canterbury Club Site beckoned, and a mixture of East & West Kenters descended to offer a few hours labour, in return for some free camping. These weekends are becoming a regular feature, the Site Managers Scott and Michelle, really appreciate the assistance given, and go all out with some great hospitality.

This year we got down to some serious cleaning with the jet wash, fencing to protect the next generation around the swing park, painting and re seeding. see photos.

In return we had a glorious weekend weather wise, and were kept suitably refreshed with copious amounts of tea, coffee, biscuits, egg & bacon sandwiches, homemade soup and rolls.

If you are starting to wish that you had been there, well it is not too late, as we are hopefully going to arrange another weekend in the Autumn, so watch this space.

So if you are visiting the Canterbury site at any time, take a look around you, because it is possible that what you are looking at has been lovingly built, tended, painted or washed by one of the team of East and West Kent DA members.
